Tabitha D. James, M.Ed.
Tabitha D. James, entrepreneur, author, researcher and transformational speaker, is a native of Lake View, a small rural town in the Pee Dee area of South Carolina. She completed her undergraduate studies in Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University (Conway, SC) and furthered education and research platform in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University (Boca Raton, FL). She currently works as a business strategist, freelance media assistant and is the program director for S.H.E. is Me Mentoring. She also serves as the Marion County Rural Health Research Agent for Clemson Extension Services. When speaking across the country she utilizes her personal story combined with history and statistics to motivate people of all ages to go for their goals by capitalizing on strengths not struggles. “You cannot be defined by your struggles, in them you must find strength and achieve the unthinkable.”
Ms. James is involved in various organizations and community entities that allot for civic engagement, empowerment and holistic growth. Her continuous goal in life is to live and lead a life of purpose, fulfilled by service. Of all her many roles and achievements, she is most proud to be the loving daughter and caregiver for her remarkable mother, Cheryl C. James, her true motivator.
